I closed 2018 with the most incredible couple ever and their intimate & fun Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel Wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Ocean lovers, Courtney & Dan, share a connection so deep and beautiful, it’s inspiring;  their destination wedding was nothing short of amazing. With meaningful detail, laughs, tears and crazy-fun dance moves, the day flew by flawlessly.

“I think the absolutely most memorable part of the ceremony was Dan’s vows. We both wrote our own vows and didn’t share them with each other until that day. His were beyond beautiful and touched my heart so much. I have never been filled with so much love as I felt on that day and continue to feel every day with Dan. Now on to the reception…the most memorable part by far was the amazing dance party that occurred with our fabulous band and dancers we hired. Seeing my brother-in-law dance with his wife (my sister) was the ultimate gift for me. Seeing the two of them let loose was so memorable … We took this as a compliment that everyone felt so comfortable and were caught up in the moment that they truly enjoyed it to the fullest. That is all we wanted and we were beyond blessed to see it and be a part of it all.” – Courtney’s words.

This was my first, of hopefully many weddings, at the chic Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel. Couples who have yet to decide on a wedding venue, check out this couple’s insight: “We were amazed from the moment we walked in. The level of detail, personalized service, cleanliness, a beautiful setting of the mangroves (you felt like you were in the jungle), adoration all of the workers had for each guest, level of intimacy….the list goes on and on. The rooms were all very unique in their own way and did a beautiful job of bringing nature into each room. We were beyond amazed and immediately knew this was where we wanted to have the wedding. Our experience of planning the wedding was beyond amazing as well. Our wedding planner, Yadira, was with the Resort and she went above and beyond to make certain we had anything we wanted. We did a few things that were unique to our wedding and not “normal wedding flow”. She was very open to it and made it happen. She made planning a wedding from afar extremely easy. We loved working with her and Javier (he took all of the room reservations for our guests). Every single person at the resort made us and each of our guests feel special. They remembered certain food allergies, people’s names, etc. These small details make a big difference. We wanted everyone to feel special…and the staff did just that!”
