These visual artists met in Colombia back in 2009. What started out as a friendship, over time, grew into a deep and meaningful love connection that is quite evident. What I love about them is that they’ve gone through a couple of rough patches in life (like all of us) but always supported each other and remained strong.

Despite the fact that these ladies spend most of their time behind the lens, they confessed to feeling very comfortable during this photoshoot that was more like a “walk-on-the-park”. We started our day in Akumal and finished in their happy place: Xcalacoco Beach just outside of busy Playa del Carmen. Xcalacoco is where they go to see sunrises, connect with mother earth, re-energize, and face life’s challenges together.

I feel honored to have been chosen to capture their love and connection in such a natural way. Gracias infinitas, mujeres divinas!!
